It is now being shown that the Obama Administration illegally spied on Donald Trump and members of his campaign. Not only during the campaign, but during the transition and well into the first year of his presidency. In October 2016, The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court was presented with a search warrant application from the justice department and the F.B.I. They claimed to have evidence of Russian influence in the Trump campaign. The F.I.S.A judge approved the warrant not knowing the court was being intentionally mislead.
Eight Count Indictment Of The Governments case
The F.I.S.A court was not told the main evidence was political opposition research.
There was no mention that the dossier was paid for by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic Party.
Then F.B.I. director James Comey describe it as salacious and unverified.
The information in the dossier was never corroborated.
That British spy Christopher Steele ,who wrote part of the dossier, was desperate that Donald Trump not get elected President.
The court was never told that the FBI fired Christopher Steele as a source because he revealed his FBI ties to the media.
D.O.J Official Bruce Ohr’s wife Nelly worked for Fusion GPS the firm commissioned to write the dossier and that she gave him, her husband, dirt on Trump and he forwarded it to the F.B.I.
Michael Isikoff wrote a Yahoo News article that collaborated the dossier with information given to him by Christopher Steele. The article cited concerns about Carter Page, a Trump campaign worker, and his Russian connections. The court wasn’t told that the phony dossier was the source of the story.
Both Trey Gowdy and John Ratcliffe, United States Representative, reviewed the F.I.S.A. documents.
Not only did the court approve the first spying warrant but also three 90 day extensions not knowing the depth of the fraud committed against the court.
F.B.I. Director James Comey signed three of the F.I.S.A. warrant applications.
Deputy F.B.I. Director Andrew McCabe signed one.
At the Department of Justice they were signed by Sally Yates, Dana Boente and Rod Rosenstein. Each was a Deputy Attorney General at the time.
A few days later both Senator Lindsey Graham and Senator Chuck Grassley confirm the Devin Nunes memo.
Chuck Grassley United States Senator.
Lindsey Graham United States Senator.
